Ballads of Sheeran

Hey guys if anyone is even reading this I am here with another song . So the artist of the day is Ed Sheeran. Born 17th February 1991 he is an English singer, song writer and one hell of a music prodigy. He was spotted by Elton John and the rest is history. He won the Ivor Novello Award for the single from his debut album +(plus) the 'A team' check out the album if you get the time. He also won the Brit awards for 'Best British Male Solo Artist' and the 'British Breakthrough Act'.

So the song of the day is 'Afire love' check it out like right now as it's one of a kind and while listening do hold on to your tissue boxes cause it's a tear jerker folks. The song has a slow but beautiful beat. The tune has that emotional touch which suits the song perfectly. The lyrics seem to talk about losing a loved one. You know the last moments where you sit in the hospital praying, hoping that our loved ones be saved but in the back of our minds we know that nothing can be done and that its best for us to just move on. This song relates to us on a personal level each of us have lost someone may it be a lover, a father, or just a friend no matter what the relationship we feel lot of anger lot of pain in our hearts. The chorus is a masterpiece in itself the lines are just touching. The chorus seems to be a song written by the person who is dying we can say on his last breath. the chorus brought tears into my eyes and just so you know that's one hell of an achievement. All in all this song gets an A+ from me and don't forget to listen to this song and i recommend some good earphones to get the best out of this song. That's it from me dudes, we shall meet again in thunder and lightning with a new song.

Goulding the name says it all

Hello music fans i am here again with another song. So iv'e been thinking i have done some classics so why not come to some of the recent ones so my artist of the day is Ellie Goulding. She started her career in 2009 and now she has become a common name in music lover's hearts.

On with the song it starts with a nice guitar riff and has a funky rock beat which seems to have created a territory for her. It has a nice narrative touch which somehow suits for her voice. Though it has been said that this song was an answer to Ed Sheeran's Don't I won't go into all that private lives and gossip I like to keep songs and the artist separated. The song as I said has a nice beat and some great lyrics which could become some great quotes like this one "You don't mess with love, you mess with the truth" I don't know about you but that touches my heart and blows my brain. So the song if you take the song literally it talks about a simple one night stands, you know the ones that go from a simple drink with a stranger to ending up the next morning in a hotel with a stranger sleeping next to you and a splitting headache from the hangover. You go on with your daily life trying to forget what happened but you still come back to the face of that girl or boy, even though it was a one night stand you fell a pull at your heart. This song although may not become a classic in my opinion is a great song  and hats off to Ellie for that. That's it from me and we shall meet again with another song

Jimi Plays Berkeley

All right music fans last time i gave you my comments on the song 'she loves you' by the Beatles which in my eyes is an all time classic now i wanna talk and when i say talk i mean rant about my other favorite musical star and you should have guessed from the title its none other than Jimi Hendrix. Now let's take a trip down memory lane and see the thrilling life he lived. James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix; November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist who was and still can be considered as a legend in guitar and one of the greatest guitarist who ever lived he started playing guitar at the tender age of 15 and you would never believe what I'm gonna say our guitarist was in the army and not just some simple soldier but a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division, I mean who would think that our star was a gutsy soldier i think there is nothing he can't do. He dabbled in gigs in the US but finally moving to the UK in the late 1966 where he grew to fame with songs like "Hey Joe" and "The Wind Cries Mary". His album "Electric Ladyland" reached number one in the US. But sadly his life got cut too short by Barbiturate related Asphyxia, may God bless his soul. Also did you know he was a southpaw and not just that but one of his friends another famous guitarist Eric Clapton had a left handed Guitar made specially for him but was never able to give it to him before his death.Just so you know i got all the info from Wikipedia.
So my dedication song of the day is the song "Purple Haze" from the album "Jimi Plays Berkeley" it has some awesome songs like "Little Wings" and "Woodoo Chile" check out the album if you like its a no brainer for me.Purple Haze written in 1966 and recorded in 1967 has become the archetypical psychedelic drug songs of the sixties. Though it has said to be another love songs some fans say it has drug relation even though Hendrix denied all of that enough about if the song is related to drugs whatever the song may be it has some great lyrics and a good guitar piece. The lines like " 'Scuse me while i kiss the sky" and "whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me" in my mind it talks all about love the high you get when you think about you loved ones, all your attention going to the one you cherish as if and i quote "that girl put a spell on me" the electricity you feel from this song really takes you to the next level. I suggest the next time you get a chance listen to this song and if you want to do it my way download it or if your'e feeling of going retro buy the CD and listen to it like a million times till you know the song by heart. Whoo! writing gives me such a thrill that's it from me folks if you have any tips or advice for me do leave a comment and if you like the way i like follow love you bye!!

She Loves You It's a classic!

Hello fellow music lovers i don't know about you but i'm totally psyched this is my first blog so no flames, constructive criticism is truly appreciated .

So i wanna start from the classics the golden age of rock and so why not start with a band which has been on the top the undisputed kings, take your hands clap em snap em i don't care slap em  for the one and only "THE BEATLES". Remember the song 'She Loves You' for those who don't know it is from a very nice album called 'Twist and Shout'. It's got some great songs like "Love Me Do, From Me to You and Please Please Me".

Onto the song it's one of those which grows on you at first i thought oh! its the classic Beatles song and then you start hearing the lyrics again and again from the start of the verses "She loves you......"
to the end "With a love like that......." you know it's like listening to a love letter, a ballad, a poem. The everlasting love that you feel in this song, to me this song represents the ups and downs of a relationship the highs and lows that no matter what true love will always prevail that no matter how hard you fight a little compromise from both parties and lots of love can save any relationship and make it last i don't know it maybe forever or it maybe for just a day but cherish that day and i promise you you will remember that day like it was yesterday. Hats off to the Beatles for giving us such a lovely song, my only disappointment that i wasn't able to attend even one of their concerts but Youtube gave me a time traveler and I sat front row for many of their songs. Well that's it from me Good Day and Goodbye.
