Find Your Way To Route 66

Hello! hello! music fans I am Karun Abraham And this is Music Mania. I am here to fill you with music goodness and the artist of the day is John Clayton Mayer, he is an American singer song-writer and producer. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and raised in nearby Fairfeild. He has released many albums like Continuum and Paradise Valley. You may recognize his famous song 'Your Body Is A Wonderland'. And the song as you may have guessed from the title is "Route 66" Yes ladies and gentlemen the cross country road that has become a U.S holy ground for bikers and travelers alike.
Now this song has been covered by many famous artists like 'Chuck Berry' 'Them featuring Van Morrison' and 'Rolling Stones'. Originally written by Bobby Troup from the 'King Cole Trio'. This song follows the classic Rhythm and blues beat. It has a jive and funk to it no matter which version you hear you are sure to fall in love with it.

The song is literally a road map of Route 66 a road from Chicago to Los Angeles. This song talks about the pleasure of a cross country trip, Route 66 to be exact. It gives a thrill to any traveler and for an Indian travel enthusiast like me going on a trip around the U.S is a dream and after hearing this song anyone would want to travel through '66' even if you have to walk the whole trip. But back to the song it is basically calling out the famous places on the map of '66' like St. Louie, Missouri and Oklahoma. Of all the versions of the song I have heard I like John Mayer's version the best. Though the lyrics and the beat is not much different it has been given its own sweet twist which I find more pleasant than Chuck Berry's version no offence to Berry but Mayer beat him hands down on this song. Well that's it from me guys Goodbye and Goodday.

DNCE Till You Die

Hello Hello I am your host Karun Abraham and I am here with another artist. And the Artist of the day is DNCE. DNCE is an American pop rock band. The group consists of members Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and JinJoo Lee. The group signed with Republic Records, who released their debut single "Cake by the Ocean" in 2015. Now the song of the day is not "Cake by the Ocean" oh no its their recent song "Toothbrush"

Now the song is really nice it has a nice mellow beat and a nice guitar piece. Its a bit slower than the fast paced "Cake by the Ocean". one of DNCE's best song, now the band is a new one and they have only released a few singes but their songs are a work of art I tell you Joe Jonas has a nice voice and JinJoo Lee can really rock that guitar. Toothbrush may not be as good as "Cake by the Ocean" but it is a great song in itself. The song seems to talk about a new budding relationships and the transition from a fling to something serious you know the moment where you built up the courage to ask her to move in with you hence the term 'toothbrush'. This peice rocks and guys all around the world can appreciate it. Well that's my opinion of this song, So do comment and this is me Karun Abraham signing out "PEACE!!"
