So after spinning the wheel of the day the result came "SHAWN MENDES" now onto the boring part of this post, the biography.Shawn Peter Raul Mendes (born August 8, 1998) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the popular video sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist managers Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton, which led to him signing a deal with the record label. Mendes went on to release an EP and his debut studio album Handwritten, whose single "Stiches” reached the top 10 in the U.S. and Canada, and number one in the UK. As you can see Mendes is Relatively a new artist than other artists from my older posts. So that's all about him now lets get into his songs.

Shawn Mendes has currently three Albums to his name and honestly speaking most of the songs in his albums are great. They may have sappy mushy lyrics but the beat and his voice makes up for the lyrics, and its not like the lyrics are bad or anything. So our song for the day is from his new Album 'Illuminate' it has some nice songs like 'Mercy' and 'Three Empty Words'. now lets forget all that and come to our song 'Treat you Better' The song screams live and heartbreak. Mendes seems to be talking about love from afar something we guys and sometimes gals also have experienced when we love someone but we refrain ourself for reasons only known to us. He seems to go on about how he is better for the girl of his dreams than the one she is currently with. This is what love is isn't it when we see ssomething unattainable and we do everything to attain it and we do our best to cherish it for the rest of our life. Mendes goes on saying that the guy she is with is not worth her time that she could do better and feels he would be so much better for her, so to all the Hinatas (what I'm an anime fanatic, deal with it) out there go to your crush and if you truly love them then say it to their face that you love them, maybe you can treat them better.
